Good samaritans donate $30K to the family of Jake within a day on GIVE.asia

Yesterday, on May 8th morning, one of Jake's family friends started a fundraising campaign for Jake's family. Mr Jake Seet Choon Heng, the 33-year-old Singaporean is survived by two sons, aged three and six, and his wife is expecting a baby girl next month. The body of Mr Jake was found in sea off Sentosa on May 7th as reported by Channel NewsAsia here.

Within 24 hours, over $30,000 has been donated by kind-hearted fellow Singaporeans in a show of compassion and human spirit. The fundraising campaign has been shared around 2,000 times on Facebook as you can see on GIVE.asia campaign page (www.give.asia/jake).

We kindly request you to include the campaign link (www.give.asia/jake) if you choose to write about this story so that more people can support Jake's family in this difficult time.

You can also get in touch with the fundraiser Mr. Pang Kee Whee who started the campaign at kiwipang@gmail or with GIVE.asia at helpdesk@give.asia if you have any questions.

Thanks for your time.
